Who we are
The Pinoy Accounting Course is run by Jesse Roy M. Alcaraz, CPA (Alcaraz Accounting), in the Philippines. We handle your personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and keep your Google name and email address. If you tell us you have paid, we also keep the payment method (GCash or BPI) and the reference number you enter.
We do not receive your Google password, your GCash or bank login, or your card details.
How we use it
We use your name, email and payment details only to confirm your payment, give you access to the course, and help you if you contact us. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or use them for advertising.
To see which lessons are useful, we count which lessons, tools and sheets members open. These counts are kept as totals and are not linked to your name or email.
What stays on your device
Everything you type into the calculators (materials, recipes, prices, expenses) and your list of watched lessons are saved in your own browser, on your own device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see or recover them.
Services we rely on
The site is hosted by Netlify. Accounts and the course list are stored with Supabase. Sign-in is provided by Google. Lesson videos are delivered by Bunny Stream, and the free preview on the sales page is played from YouTube. Payments are made by you directly through GCash or BPI. Each of these providers handles the data needed to deliver its part of the service.
Your choices
You can sign out anytime. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the details we keep about you by messaging our Facebook Page. If we delete your account details, your access to the course ends.
Payment and access
The course costs ₱1,499, paid once by GCash or BPI. Payments are checked by hand against our records, usually within 24 hours. Access is for the Google account you signed in with, and it is for your own use; please do not share your account.
Lifetime access means access for as long as the course is offered online. It includes lessons and tools added to the course later.
7-day money-back guarantee
If you find the course not helpful, message our Facebook Page within 7 days of your access being approved and we will refund your ₱1,499 in full. Your access ends once the refund is sent.
Educational content only
The lessons, calculators and sheets are general education for business owners. They are not personalised accounting, tax or legal advice. Rules on permits, registration and taxes can change and depend on your situation, so check with the BIR, your local government office, or a professional before acting on them.
The calculators give estimates based only on the numbers you enter. You are responsible for the figures you use and the decisions you make with them.
